LDPE films

The most widely used LDPE films are thermo-shrinkable films intended for wrap-packaging, mostly for group packing of goods (e.g. beverages, food products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, construction products, magazines, etc.). When heated in a heat tunnel the film shrinks both ways and wraps tightly around the products, which are thus bound into a firm unit.

LDPE films are also used for industrial packing on automatic packaging machines – they are used for foodstuffs, books, magazines, as well as for chemicals, construction materials (sand, fine sand, lime, etc.), soil, fertilisers, etc.

Polyethylene films are distinguished by their low material and energy consumption per product unit as well as optimum protection.
